Marshawn Lynch has a future in analysis

The NCAA Tournament is over, the Masters is but four days long, and then summer hits. Not a whole lot to do but watch the NBA Playoffs, and while I’m totally geeked for the playoffs, I reknize that not everyone loves the NBA. These people are all racists.

So NFL draft talk takes over, and if I have my way, Marshawn Lynch is going to be side-by-side with Mel Kiper on every Sportscenter segment until everyone is off the board. He will have a hyphy index, a metric that correlates performance to hyphy style for each draft pick. When the final grades are in, Kiper will give his grade, and Lynch will present his Yee Award to the team with the most exciting set of picks.

All things told, I am quite the fan of what Yardbarker has assembled with the athletes and the blogging. It’s not so much that I’m reading Donovan McNabb’s or Josh McRoberts’ blogs, it’s that, well, I’m glad they’re out there because I’m a supporter of this blogging thing and I know there’s somebody somewhere reading and enjoying them. The blogs may not be updated frequently enough for some, but hey, they’re there and that’s enough.

And now they’ve brought blogosphere darling and Buffalo Bill running back Marshawn Lynch into the fray. (Honestly, this might be the best YouTube video of the year. It’s hard to top.)
