Not exactly, I guess, but this video (HT: With Leather) is of one truly spectacular vertical jump.

Back when I used to play football (I was terrible, by the way), I always used to be really fascinated with vertical jumps. It’s mostly because mine could never top 24 inches, even on the best of days, and I had some serious hops envy. Man, that sucked. I’m not sure why I don’t think about this more now - my lack of raw athleticism continues to haunt me far beyond the death of my organized sports career - but I guess, at some point, I just stopped caring.

Thank God for Adrian Wilson, because the dude just made all of us look silly. That jump, in case you’re wondering, was 66 inches. 66! He could probably jump my white-boy 24 off his knees. Some things just don’t equate, eh?
