Baron Davis inspires a song; song is pretty deese
So Baron Davis opted out of his contract Monday with the Warriors and yesterday he agreed to a deal with the Clippers. (That was quick.) And somewhere between that, this dude wrote this song, preformed it and put in on YouTube. It’s better than anything Creed has ever put out. And it kind of sounds like Shwayze, which means it’s palatable enough.Am I saying this guy is the next Bob Dylan? No. Am I saying he’s on par with the Teixeria song? Why yes. Yes I am.

And you thought soccer flopping was bad
Here’s Baron Davis and Mehmet Okur. Can you guess which one flopped worse than an Serie A Italian soccer club player? I’ll give you a hint, it’s the dude with the beard and white jersey.

This wasn’t even B. Diddy’s best effort…
…but it was still rather emphatic. There was that 360-degree layup that somehow made its way off the backboard and into the hoop. There was that up-and-under scoop that looked so effortless.
Those were more jaw-dropping to me, but this dunk against AK-47 stands as a testament to what the Warriors did to the Jazz last night. They made them look docile. They made them look vulnerable. It’s a series once again.
Oh, and it was totally worth lifting his shirt up and getting the technical. Totally worth it.

Baron Davis is very good at basketball
For some reason, I always keep forgetting this. It probably has a lot to do with injuries and the fact that Davis has spent most of his career at outposts like New Orleans and Golden State, but still.
Anyway, here’s a helpful reminder of exactly how good Davis was in college. As the Lakers and Suns figure things out, I’m already thinking about whether the Warriors can really upset the Mavs. If Davis continues to unleash, that prospect looks more and more likely.
