I'll admit as little as a 6 months ago I was one of the Rex backers, but why not let him walk? Why not open a roster spot at QB just so they can take a chance on one in the mid rounds. What were they saying in their personel meetings at Halas Hall? "No way we find someone who has Rex's ability to not sense any pocket pressure and throw it up into coverage like a 5th grader playing '500' at recess." I also think my sister is taller than he is. I'm surprised he can see over Olin Kruetz's ass in the huddle. And, as the bears offense is still stuck in the Red Grange era, they don't run the shotgun (Which reminds me of my dad saying he doesnt like to watch the suns play basketball because they don't play defense). Why not take a chance on.......anyone! P.S. - Tell me Lovie, with his new facial hair, doesn't look exactly like the famous Cal-Berkely Sociologist and long time sportscentury guest Harry Edwards.
