Exhausted
Yesterday was the perfect storm. Not only did Roger Clemens go to Washington, thereby providing the most unintentionally hilarious display of minor congressional asshattery in this era, the NCAA decided to drop the bomb on Kelvin Sampson and our Hoosiers just before their showdown with Wisconsin. It was a busy fucking day, so busy that I’m using profanity for no real reason right now. It was fucking busy.
So, as a bit of a breather, here’s a recap of what we did yesterday/this morning:
R was up late Tuesday night, having first heard of the Kelvin Sampson mess from Andy Katz. He reacted appropriately, given the shock involved. (I think he’s calmed down a bit since then.)
I spoke on Sampson and IU’s last-second loss, and how Indiana’s season is now officially overshadowed by something that prevents us from really enjoying the games.
And we FanHouse’d all day yesterday. There were a series of posts throughout the Clemens hearing, and then once the deed was done, I graded the performances therein. Hint: Most grades were pretty bad, and the curve was not an equal distribution. Oh, and Ryan Dempster said something stupid. It was stupid not because curses are real (they’re not), but because he’s Ryan Dempster and he’s barely decent at baseball and thus should not be predicting anything. Idiot.
Well! Wasn’t that fun? Aren’t you glad we weren’t just slacking off? I know I am.

i just hope he get the same as bonds, HOF or not, but they will likely give him his namesake clemen-cy
