Nut shots: Still funny when done for science

So here’s something you don’t see everyday: a dude actually volunteering to let another dude fire a tennis ball at his nuts. For science. And here’s the shocking conclusion to this little experiment: your heart rate does in fact go up when you’re anticipating a tennis ball to the groin. (I DON’T BELIEVE IT.)

Our New Year’s Resolution was to bring back the nut shot. Thanks to Sports Column, SbB and With Leather, we’re giving it a go. Don’t thank us, we’re just doing our job.

    fucking classic! they must have replayed the actual ball shot about 20 times. it never gets old. “football to the groin” really should have won the movie award for Homer.

    agreed: classic. this will never stop being funny and i’m so glad. i love the one guy sitting at the table who has a concerned look on his face as if he wasn’t sure if the guy was gonna survive. 50 mph? jesus. and i like the ads on the bottom of the idiot’s sandals. hope it was worth it. razzle - you should get video of carlos lee’s nut shot a couple yrs ago with the sox. the trainer came out and started rubbing his lower back - it was great. i’m sure dj’s comments are even better.
