Joe Buck’s late-night tryout

While it clearly lacked the delicious spontaneity of backseat cab jabber, Joe Buck’s interview with Conan this week was funny. Joe’s as smug as ever, but he’s also entertaining, and somehow refrains from calling Conan’s hair a “disgusting act,” which, unlike Randy Moss’ infamous mooning, it sort of is.

Still, the key line remains: “Do you do the whole texting craze,” dropped without a hint of irony. Joe Buck is down with the kids and their webbernettexting. Sure he is.

    postmane are you a publicist? Joe buck is not funny he is a jackass. He only has a job because of his dad…who is also a jackass but I can put up with him now…

    Ahhh…finally. The anti-Joe Buck post I’ve been craving for a few years. He was entertaining on the show, but you can bet your jub jub I still don’t like him.

    I wasn’t that impressed. As for the little texting game he plays with his pals, it’s always nice to know that you’re getting a little extra when you tune into Fox.
