Boy gets hit in face with dodgeball, lives to tell about it

Normally, videos that involves any type of sportacular injuries end with the vaunted “let’s show you this one more time, but in slo-mo to really get the effect.” But in the above clip, that is not that case.

And really, I think the director did this to tell a feel good story — one of redemption, one of “you know what, the underdog can triumph.” Just because the smallest kid on this dodgeball court received some UBER-PWNAGE to the grill, he came out all right. And he even got his glasses back!

I expect YouTube user J4CKD4NI3LS to receive an Oscar this year. If not, well, I’ll be convinced the Academy is rigged.
