Weekend Fun: Mailing it in
Since I just — like, fifteen minutes ago — completed the transition from drunk to hungover to homeostasis, I’m mailing this Weekend Fun in. Long-time readers of the feature would likely argue that rarely do I not mail it in; nonetheless, there’s no point in hiding it. I tries me hardest on this site most of the time, but today is not one of those days. I apologize.
So, enjoy this Frank Caliendo Jim Rome impression. I think it might rival his Madden and George Bush, which is saying something.
One site note you may have already noticed: If you want to read us at the FanHouse and haven’t been doing so because you are lazy and hate America, we’ve made it even easier for you. In place of the obnoxious Google Image ads below the first post that usually featured some combination of Ann Coulter and some other such nonsense is a PostmanR-built feed. Feel free to utilize it constantly. If you don’t, I have to question your patriotism. I just do.
Finally, in case you care, Cubs-Cardinals tomorrow. Drunk posting afterward? Oh, you dirty devils, you. We’ll see.

That’s funny stuff. I actually like Rome, but I guess he probably comes across as obnoxious to those that don’t listen regularly.
The funniest Caliendo imitation of Rome is on one of his CDs. He calls an LA Radio station as Rome and gives a recipe for an apple baverian tort. Its one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard.
