E’s covered this topic over at FanHouse before, but really, there’s nothing more brilliant than tomfoolery in MSM headlines. As far as traditional papers are concerned, it’s one of the few places jokes can be interspersed in “objective” hard news pieces. And, anyone who can pull them off rather seamlessly deserves a tip of the cap. Case in point, that photo to the right — a photo of a Northern Arizona University paper. As former college newspaper sports editors ourselves, we never could quite pull this off. Hoosiers just doesn’t have the same capabilities as Lady Jacks, you know? Anyways, on to some links.
