American Gladiators might be back. RAWK.

I’ve had this conversation a few times with friends. “Man, wouldn’t it be great if they brought “American Gladiators” back on the air?” “Why yes, it sure would,” everyone agreed. Well, that day may be here soon enough, people.

One show that’s changing the definition of the word “future” as it relates to Mr. Silverman is “American Gladiators,” the Reveille-owned cavalcade of well-oiled, padded combatants that might soon reappear on NBC after NFL football.

Yes. Yes. YES. Although, as MDS over at FanHouse tells us today, this tidbit of information was buried at the bottom  of an Adverting Age piece, so it’s not the most ringing endorsement. Not to mention, it’s one sentence and uses the word “might.” But, you know, I don’t care. I am getting my hopes up for this and if they get smashed, then so be it. Any chance of me seeing more of the Greatest Football Move in the World or Malibu waxing poetic, well, count me in.

Someone please, make this happen. Start a petition or a sit-in or something. It’s just that important.
