Dan Patrick’s Wikipedia page is under attack

dan-patrick.jpgA guy can’t just leave his high-profile, highly paid job in peace? The very core of his existence, his Wikipedia page, has to be defaced? This is just salt in the wound:

Wikipedia still hasn’t disabled editing on Dan Patrick’s entry, and the pranksters haven’t stopped playing around with the page.

A few highlights:

- 00:25, 7/11: Reigning champion of the Butler County (Ohio) 4-H Fair Pig Wrestling contest (Unclear when this was added. Maybe here.)

- 22:51, 7/10: Dan is of no relation to female race car driver Danica Patrick

- 19:08, 7/10: Some claim that Patrick was involved in the John F. Kennedy assassination. (Some on the talk page doubts this and asks for confirmation. We’re thinking most JFK conspiracy theories don’t include kids under the age of 10.)

- 19:00, 7/10: Keith Olbermann will take over as host of ESPN Radio’s “The Big Show”. Olbermann will take over on August 20 with co-host Mickey Rivers. (This guy seems to have tried to post it three times before his IP address was reported. That prompted some discussion.)

- 18:46, 7/10: “Daniel Patrick Pugh Obermann” (Geez, couldn’t even spell “Olbermann”)

Awesome. Poor Dan. All he wants to do is go on a mission trip to Venezuela, go camel-riding in the Sahara, and scale Katmandu in a little peace. Now he’s got to constantly re-edit his Wiki page. Have you no sense of decency, internet trolls?

The JFK conspiracy theory is the best. This is Steven Colbert’s wikiality at its finest.

I was wondering what some of the more mature members here do about dating. It seems much harder for older singles to find a mate, so I might be turning to online dating for older singles.
    any suggestions? thanks.
