Ha! I met those two in Orlando and they were a real trip. There is no way they can still be alive if they still are partying like I saw them back in the day. Both Scott and Mike always had some nice eye candy around them! Lucky bastards!

I met Scott through Mike Porricelli in Maryland when he was playing for the Bullets (now Wizards) and Scott was always respectful to others that gawked and questioned him with silly questions just so they could say that they met him. Although he rarely smiled and always looked intense, he and Mike always looked like they were having fun and by all means never disrespectful to anyone.

I watched Scott since he was a snippett in middle school, one year behind him all the way. He is feirce and fair. But make no mistake about it. He has what we all have(being a proud nothern hoosier)and that’s blue collar, take no prisoners grit to us synonymous with the likes of Michael Jackson. We are polite but don’t push!! Poeple have always rumored on him and expected him to be more than human. I mean what are the odds of a kid from a town of 7,000 people making it that big? Pretty slim. I rememer him as kind and generous. Maybe not the most humble person, but unappologetically himself. None the less, he still makes me proud to be a kid from Plymouth.

I knew his buddy of a few years (Mike Porricelli) pretty well and he always had the highest regard for Scott’s ability as a coach. I remember him telling me a story how they were at a bar and noticed Scott writing something down on a piece of paper and Mike thought he was giving his number to a woman and when he asked what he was doing Scott replied that he just thought of a good in bounds play. Basketball is in his blood!

I met Skiles through a mutual friend. We golfed together a couple of times and this dude is the real deal. Treated me and friends like he knew us for years, was very respectfull. Scott never acted full of himself or bragged in anyway around us. Told some great NBA stories and is funny as hell. Made me and my group feel like he was interested in our conversations and to be honest we had a hell of good time. Good job Scott dont get caught up in situations like Pitno did we are getting to old for that.
