Get rich or die bloggin'
Hey, it’s Dan Majerle day on The Postmen!
Full confession: I only ran across that Dan Majerle and Tim Hardaway kissing video because I was looking for that clip of Majerle draining those re-donk-u-lous shots before the Suns game a few days ago. (As the Blogfather alluded to in the comments.)
And thanks to YouTube user barett90, I now can put it on blast to the masses! Seriously, thanks buddy. Because of you, I’ve now officially declared April 26 Dan Majerle Day on the Postmen. E, if you’re out there, mark this down on your calendar. We will celebrate it next year if we’re still alive and kicking.
So to recap my day: two Dan Majerle videos and a picture of a penis. Man, I’m awesome.

Postman E will have to help me out on this one a bit - but Wilbon is right on about how incredibly talented these people in the NBA are. Take you back to Ed Conroy’s basketball camp circa 5th grade for E and I. Ed brought in some lame duck NBA player (this is where E comes in with the name), and this guy sat out on the three point line and must have made 100 3’s in a row. I do not exaggerate. I remember that was the day I finally convinced myself I could never be in the NBA. Ridiculous. I have heard similar stories about Steve Kerr being able to throw down 100 in a row - don’t doubt it for a second.
Kent McCausland?
It can’t really be him, I just wanted to throw a Kent McCausland reference at people.
It even goes beyond NBA players. I remember going to an Illinois basketball game back when Sean Harrington was a freshman. He came out way before the came started and, I kid you not, probably hit 97/100 from 3 point range. And some of them were a good 5-7 feet behind the arc. It was unreal.
PMK are you sure it wasn’t Arvedis Sabonis? I remember seeing him at the camp.
I heard Tim Legler on the local radio show the other night and they asked him how many NBA three’s he could make out of 100 right now and he said probably 90. I don’t doubt it either.
