Malibu knew how to keep it real, and some loose ends
Because everything of relevance seems to have been exhausted ad nauseum today, (more on that in the next few grafs) here’s Malibu of American Gladiator fame making an absolute fool out of himself. And by absolute fool out of himself, I mean embodying one incredible snapshot of a moment in American history, when this sort of banter actually was considered cool. Gnarley, duuuude.
Anyways, as E said yesterday, let us rest already on the Don Imus comments. Offensive? Yes. Wrong? Yes. Now let’s pretend he doesn’t exist, just as we did before he decided to be one insensitive mother. In situations such as this, I am often times reminded of the great Steve Urkel who once said, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.”
Second ad naseum item of the day comes courtesy of many a blog, but first watched by myself at the lovely MLB Fanhouse. It’s Joey Gathright jumping over cars like they are skateboards, and it is awesome.
And lastly, yes, Pacman Jones has been suspended for all of next season. Which, as has been noted elsewhere, frees him up for some more rain-making fun — always a good thing in my book.
But, in any event, don’t forget about Malibu. He is still up top there, waiting to comfort you with a little brewski and a beautiful babe in toe out at the beach, soaking up some cosmic rays.
(BTW: Man. U is torching Roma at the moment, 6-17-1.)

Wow…amazing find.
that looks like Edge
completely agree with you about Imus, its not even the sports networks that are beating it into the ground its everyone now. Oh, and American Gladiators rocks.
[…] But yes: perhaps it was best to just let this one forever live in the context of the early 90s. I think Malibu would have wanted it that way. […]
