The man will not give up

Look at that hop. Perfectly executed form, I tell you.
I could go on and on about how that’s the Sammy Sosa I’ll always remember, the trademark hop, shit-eating grin and glove-to-the-ear as he ran out to right field every game at Wrigley. It was annoying. I loathed it.
But no one wants to read a tightly constructed 500-word post about my feeling towards Sammy Sosa. (Although in my fantasy world, you would read it, love it and pay me $5,000,000 a word. Which, is like a zillion and a half dollars. That’s a lot. Also in my fantasy world, I eat buttermilk pancakes every morning. Mmm pancakes.)
Anyways, after Sosa tried getting back in the bigs, then was rumored to be headed to Japan, he’s reportedly about to ink a minor league deal with the Rangers.
If that doesn’t work out, Sosa could probably try and hook on with a college team somewhere, he should have four years of eligibility left. If not, I heard the local Little League team was looking for a mediocre right fielder with a nearly 4:1 strikeout to home run ratio.
End blog transmission.
Sidenote: Is there anyone that’s benefited more from steroids than Sosa out of that whole Congress gaggle or perhaps MLB players as a whole? (If he indeed did take them. *wink*) McGwire was at least big and hit for power since his rookie year. Palmeiro was always pretty solid. Just a thought, I’m not actually going to look anything up to support my claim because I need to go eat my pancakes now.
