But Rogers displays some form of unsolicited, uncontrolled emotion just about every pitch, regardless of the outcome. Watch him. If he misses the zone, he's back out on the mound yelling at himself; if the ball is hit, he spins around dramatically to see if it will be caught, then marches around the infield while the ball is thrown back in; if he strikes someone out, well, look out. I have no problem with emotion - and also, let's not compare MJ's artistic license to that of Kenny freakin' Rogers - as long as it's genuine. It seems now that Kenny has had success with this new "emotional" approach, he uses it simply for the sake of using it. Which, in my mind, makes him a total douche.
