WXYZ and WDIV out of the D ran interviews Sunday night with the Michigan State Policeman who was doused in champaign after the Tiger's win Saturday. He revealed in this interview only something People magazine would want to know and that is what Kenny Rogers asked this officer before the toast to his hat.

The Tiger's celebration did not play out as well on my mobile Saturday afternoon as it did in video form (never saw the latter until Sunday morning). The Tiger's celebration Saturday was also strangely similar to the celebration of its triple-A club the last two seasons. Let's hope this past season's result in the International League finale foreshadows what is to come for the D.

Normally, I'm not big on celebrating a divisional series victory, but when you do it in serious style like the Tigers did, then I'm all for it.

The Leyland kiss and Rodgers Champagne pour were incredible. The only way it could've been better is if the Gambler was tazed and arrested on top of the dugout.

Ahhhhh, what a great night that was. The celebration was the best I've ever seen. And don't feel bad about thinking the Yanks would take it, EVERYONE picked them. Go Tigers!
