Wait, what’s that you say? Griffey Jr. is hurt again?
This has to be insanely frustrating if you are a fan of the Cincinnati Scarlets. First, you go on a gigantor losing streak, dropping you out of the Wild Card lead - maybe for good.
Then, it happens again. Ken Griffey Jr. gets hurt trying to make a play in centerfield. How many times has this happened now since he arrived in his hometown?
Three? Four? Five times?
I prefer to remember Griffey Jr. as the kid with the sweet swing, sporter of backwards hats and that infectious smile. The guy with the face on the front of one of my favorite Super NES games.
Not as an aging star, riddled with injury and diminishing skills. Yeesh.
Hang in there, Kenneth.

speaking on behalf of all cincinnati scarlet fans, this really isnt a very big deal. all he did was dislocate his toe, and hes only gonna be out a few days. hes only been on the dl once this year (and once last year), so he really hasnt been all that injury prone the last two years. besides, he could use some time off to deal with his mom and dad contracting cancer and all. he hasnt really had a chance to cope off the field since he found out.
Hmm… that comment wasnt very funny… Two fellers are going to the bathroom, one feller says the waters cold, the othern says it’s deep, mhhm hmmmmmm.
Poor Ken…what could have been.
