In which PostmanR tucks you in and tells you a bedtime story
It all started last night, boys and girls. A young man ventured into the big city for a night of fun. He had hoped to catch the end of his favorite baseball team’s game against the mighty New York Yankees.
But one problem stood in his way, the WNBA.
Now see, boys and girls, he happened to be in the residence of some college basketball players of the female variety and they were much more interested in Diana Taurasi’s jumper on ESPN2 than his team on WGN.
He politely didn’t complain about it, as all you should, boys and girls. It’s not polite to act such a way in another person’s home. Didn’t you know that?
But thankfully, his friend was much more forward about it (but still, never act this way, boys and girls) and the girls resided to a bedroom to watch the end of the Phoenix-Minnesota game. (Hey, Taurasi even set the single season scoring mark for the WNBA last night!)
The boys were left to watch their team in the family room. And their team won in extra innings! What a great victory!
See boy and girls, good things happen to those who wait. Or who are cowards and don’t speak up.
The End
