NFL looking to take fun out of game
Boo. Boo. And boo.
The Chad Johnson touchdown show was a weekly source of entertainment for fans last year and in no way did it take away from the sanctity of the game or any of that other crap committee chair and Tennessee Titan coach Jeff Fischer wants to use in defense of the proposal.
And it’s not like every single receiver on every single team is pulling these stunts. There are still plenty of classy receivers such as Marvin Harrison who aren’t going all out after they score six.
So we say, ‘Who cares?’
We want more CPR to the football, pylon putting and Chad busting out the Riverdance. It’s what makes the game fun.
Mr. Johnson doesn’t seem fazed. Just look at these golden statements he gave the Cincinnati Enquirer.
“Of course you cannot stop someone as creative as me. How can this bother someone as creative as me?”
“Tell the competition committee that Chad said you can’t cover 85, and there’s no way you can stop him from entertaining.”
Keep doing your thang, Chad.
